Heinrich Anger established the Company as a “business for the construction of wells and pumps” in Nordhausen/ Thüringen in 1863. Today, H Anger’s Söhne has become one of the leading medium-sized companies in the German drilling industry. During these past 150 years, from the historical roots to this day, the Company’s range of services has been expanded considerably, especially so since the change of management in 1998. Drilling, maintenance, refurbishment, workover and abandoned mine management: H Anger’s Söhne has become firmly established as a competent all-round provider for well constructions and shallow as well as deep drilling. This includes wells for water resources, geothermal heat as well as for exploration and development of oil and gas reservoirs and for the mining industry in Germany and Europe from the very beginnings of a project until its completion – and beyond.
